When I look back at everything I have experienced, and how far I have come, I can truly say that I am filled with gratitude, joy, and testimony. The Pathways to Independence Scholarship has been such a meaningful part of my journey, and I am incredibly thankful for the support they have given me.
This scholarship has helped me in ways that go far beyond financial assistance. They have helped me find a car, provided support with groceries and financial payments, and helped relieve some of the burdens that could have prevented me from continuing my education. Because of their support, I have been able to focus more on my education and my future rather than constantly worrying about how I would meet my basic needs.
One of the greatest gifts has also been being able to receive therapy. Having access to therapy gave me the opportunity to work through different experiences, grow in understanding myself, and become a better version of who I am. It has shaped and molded me in ways I will always carry with me.
Pathways to Independence has reminded me that sometimes receiving help is not a sign of weakness, but it can be part of the journey toward becoming independent and stronger. Their support has given me opportunities, stability, and hope during seasons when I truly needed it.
Today, I am continuing my education, growing as a person, and looking toward the future with so much hope. I carry a testimony of how far I have come, and I am so grateful for the people and organizations that have helped me along the way.
