Healing, for me, has been a journey of returning to my truest self, the person I have always been underneath the layers of pain, shame, and life’s hardships. It means choosing not to run anymore, but to stand still, to be present, and to meet myself with courage and compassion. With the guidance of a loving therapist and the support of pathways and people who truly see me, I’ve been able to peel back the parts of my story that once held me captive. Learning to discover, uncover, and release what no longer serves me has been one of the most empowering gifts of my life. It has shifted me from merely surviving to finally living with intention and freedom.
What has surprised me most is realizing just how much strength, light, and resilience were already within me. Healing hasn’t given me a new self, it has revealed the beauty of who I always was.
I hope to continue growing, and to carry this light forward by helping young girls who have walked through shame, addiction, or struggles of their own. My deepest desire is to remind them that they are already worthy, already loved, and already whole. Healing is possible and it begins with remembering who you truly are.
