I have found something at Pathways that most people wish they could experience in their life…

Hello, my name is Heather, I have been in the pathways program since April 2022. During my time as a Pathways member, I have been blessed with a team that has dedicated countless hours to helping me improve my life skills, and communication skills all while helping with increasing my GPA.

I have found something at Pathways that most people wish they could experience in their life: genuine love and faith in my abilities in this college journey. When I entered Pathways I had a year of sobriety; I had maybe a suitcase full of clothes and a car and little hope that I could become what I have dreamed of being. Today I now have my own apartment, a shiny red car, straight A’s, a healthy relationship with my partner, and most important of all is that I am supported. I also have had the honor of taking three years sober this spring. I struggled when I first entered Pathways with low self-esteem and self-worth, which reflected in all parts of my life including school. Without their support with things like tutoring and counseling, I would not have such a high GPA and a peace of mind.

To our future sisters, I hope that you have enough courage to allow the team members at Pathways in and to allow them to guide you to nothing but fulfillment and success. Pathways changed my life forever and for that, I am truly grateful and always hope my actions show my gratitude. Thank you, Pathways, for taking an injured soul and setting it free.

Sincerely yours, Heather.
