Raymond Cervantez

Raymond has been in the banking industry since 1996, he is currently Vice President and Branch Manager for Farmers & Merchants Bank in Long Beach.  Raymond earned a BA in History from CSULB, and he has devoted 20 years to his fraternity and is their longest serving National Council executive member for 10 years.  He is also an alumni of Leadership Long Beach.  Raymond joined the Pathways Board of Directors in 2019 and has served as the Board’s Treasurer since that time.

Lindsay Mais

Lindsay is a financial advisor with CBM Wealth Management at UBS Financial Services where she is a Certified Financial PlannerTM, Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, Certified Exit Planning Advisor® and Corporate Stock Benefit Consultant. Lindsay is very active in improving life in and around the Long Beach area. She has been committed to Pathways to Independence since 2008 as a Friend of Pathways, helping to raise millions of dollars for the organization, and she joined the Pathways board in 2021. It is Lindsay’s personal philanthropic mission to do good, meaningful work and to specifically lift up women in all aspects of the community.

Diana Hill

Diana has been associated with Pathway since 2007 and has served as a mentor, coordinator, and board member. Diana was asked to take the role of Interim Executive Director in February of 2022 and, in September of 2022, was honored to accept the position permanently.

Previously Diana owned and operated a national seminar firm for 18 years and was a Director of Education at Online Trading Academy for 14 years. Diana has been a community leader for over 25 years in Los Alamitos and the greater Orange County area. She is currently a governing board member of the Los Alamitos School District, among other volunteer positions.

Diana is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those who have demonstrated a desire to grow and break the negative cycles in their lives. She is a leader who serves, inspires, and always reaches for audacious goals.

Tracey Hutton

Tracey is a retired nurse who became interested in Pathways to Independence in 2001, when she attended the yearly fundraiser. “I realized what wonderful work they were doing, and that it was life changing.” Tracey has volunteered in many different capacities through the years, from Mentor to Director. She has served on the Pathways board since 2018. “I am grateful to have had a small part in transforming these women’s lives.

Joseph Dzida

Joe has been a practicing real estate and business attorney since 1979. He is now a grandfather, and in retirement from full time legal work. Joe joined the Pathways Board and the Pathways Property Management Committee in 2020, where he applies his experience and talent to the service of Pathways and its clients.

Jerry Green

Jerry is a retired CPA and business owner. He grew up in Long Beach and has been deeply involved in the development of the Long Beach community. He and his wife Jean have been long time supporters of Pathways to Independence. Jerry was Pathways’ Hall of Fame Honoree in 2018 and joined the Pathways Board of Directors in 2019. “I feel passionately. about Pathways’ mission. I want to help them continue the valuable tutoring and support they give to young women in need.”

Anita Beltran -Sutt

Anita Beltran-Sutt is an Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager for US Bank in Rancho Palos Verdes.  She has been in the banking industry for 35 years and has developed and mentored others throughout her career.  Anita has supported Pathways to Independence for several years and joined the board in 2020.  “I’m honored to be part of the Pathways to Independence Board to help in the lives of these young women and be part of the change.”

Sylvia Hendron

Sylvia is a civil engineer with Bioenergy Development Company where she is a Chief Development Officer. Her work involves development of anaerobic digester projects in the US and Europe which convert organic waste material into renewable natural gas and divert waste from landfills into clean sources of energy. In the past she has been involved in philanthropic work with the Rick Rackers, Assistance League of Long Beach, and the Boys and Girls Club. Sylvia has been involved with Friends of Pathways for 6 years prior to joining the board and served as a mentor. Sylvia is passionate about the environment and advancement of women in engineering and technical fields.

Leslie Wulff

Leslie Wulff is founder and Managing Partner of Carefree Home Care, a 10-year-old, award-winning home care agency in Orange County. Carefree specializes in helping seniors “age in place”. Leslie’s shared passion for community service and healthcare prompted her to start Carefree Home Care. When her parents were aging and in need of help to stay in their home, she recognized a significant shortage of reliable resources to help seniors at home and knew she had to help.

Philanthropy has always been a passion of Leslie’s. She was actively involved for years with Big Brothers Big Sisters, CASA and served on the Board of Trustees for Olive Crest. Leslie took a break from philanthropic work to focus on starting and growing Carefree Home Care. At present, she is ready to jump back in and be part of something that makes a difference in the lives of others. Leslie is thrilled to be joining Pathways to Independence and hopes to contribute in a meaningful way.

Ana C. Lopez

Ana C. Lopez serves as the Community Impact Division Officer for the City of Long Beach, Health and Human Services Department. She oversees the development, implementation, and sustainability of the city’s collective impact approaches for violence prevention. She facilitates and co-leads several intradepartmental collaborations to advance peace, equity, and trauma-informed approaches toward working with communities most impacted by violence. She received her Master’s degree in Public Policy and Public Affairs from the University of Wisconsin and Bachelor in Social Ecology-Criminology and Political Science from the UCI.

Robert A. Casares

Robert A. Casares is an Owner/Agent of State Farm Insurance and Financial Services in Long Beach, CA. He grew up in Downey, CA, and graduated from Warren High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Jose State University. During that time, he volunteered with the Boys and Girls Club of America and traveled to Ecuador and Peru to work with children of impoverished communities. Robert stated, “Being a member of the Pathways Board is an amazing opportunity, I believe this will allow me to give back to this community and help others that are in need.”
